PS/IS 137, 2018Lead Teaching Artist with Creative Art Works for mural spanning 52’4” x 13’8”, created as part of an Active Design In Schools Initiative through the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene at PS/IS137 in Bedstuy, BK.
A group of 12 middle schoolers and I collaborated on the design during after school workshops to create a game board which could be used interactively during gym class. They came up with several games and created rules and symbols for their whole school to enjoy. |
